RIMS believes that without the proper knowledge of functioning of body in different environments, medical education is totally null and void. Physiology is a branch of medicine that deals with study of functions of human body and the regulation of different system. The Department of Physiology’s goal is to train independent, creative, productive scholars in the physiological sciences. With respect to skills domain the students are able to conduct experiments designed for study of Physiological phenomena and interpret experimental/investigative data, distinguish between normal and abnormal data derived as a result of tests which he/she has performed and observed in the laboratory. In addition, every effort is made to optimize our programs to meet individual student needs in preparation for successful careers.
